Always stunningly beautiful at night. Come visit during the holidays.
While at Rock Plaza, turn around and look across the street (on Fifth Avenue) to see Saks' light and sound window display:

I caught opening night of the tree, earlier this month, quite spectacular. Also at Saks, in ground floor, fabulous windows including maritime themed "Furrinator". Great blog theme!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of New York and two of my favourite places. I would so much like to see it at Christmas one year. Best wishes for a peaceful and joyful Christmas and a great New Year, Debra.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Patricia! Hope you do return!!
ReplyDeleteBarry, this year's Christmas tree is especially spectacular IMO. I hope to make another trip to Saks to look more closely at the windows ... maybe after Christmas day. When you go after dark, you must cube up to look at the windows.
For anyone going to see the sound and light show, you have to stand across the street to see it. I wonder how the stores on that side of the street feel about Saks. People block the entrance to those stores, making it hard on those businesses.
