There are 4 formulas which treat different skin needs:
1) Super Greens - are anti-oxidant rich (containing vitamins A, C and K) created to detox the skin of impurities.
2) Super Fruits - brim with vitamins C and B6 to smooth, brighten, moisturize and add radiance to the skin.
3) Monika Honey - calms, smooths and hydrates sensitive skin. It also has anti-bacterial properties.
4) Tea Time - has anti-aging ingredients, including white, green and black teas to encourage quick cell turnover and diminish fine lines. Mushroom extract and chamomile impedes inflammation (a major cause of aging skin); and herbal ingredients gently rejuvenate and tighten aging skin.
Skincare with effetive ingredients can be pricey, but Walmart developed its line to be affordable for everyday use. Full size products cost between $7 - $10, or you can buy a starter kit for $10 to try the formula suitable for your skin.

I'm a big fan of reasonably priced skin care. French women are really into taking care of their skin and get most of their skin care at the "pharmacie". Most people who work there are very knowledgeable and a great resource.
ReplyDeleteI have never really gotten into serums, but I am a fan of Micellar water, which can be found under various reasonably to expensively priced lines. I have never had luck w/Retinols, which do not sit well w/my sensitive skin. Basically, I go for basics and have found that my skin thrives on a bit of "benign neglect." It has been ever thus.
I will check out some of the products you mention. Excellent post, as always, Debra.

I love finding reasonably priced skincare and makeup which do everything we want they to do. And I love choices of brands since not every brand works for every person and it helps with finding sales! Glad Walmart developed these Earth To Skin products. French women are known for their style and beautiful skin, so they must be doing plenty right! When I'm in a foreign country I like going into a pharmacy to look at skincare and makeup. If only THE SAVVY SHOPPER had a travel budget, I'd love to file a few beauty foreign market reports! From Canada, France, the UK, Korea, Japan, Indonesia for starters :)
