I think of the terms as more of a marketing tool but once you know their meaning you do understand what you’re getting.
It’s unlikely and impractical for us average wage earners to buy high jewelry, and yet it’s great fun to see! For one, the stones are rare as they are usually big with fewer flaws. Super ogle-worthy!!

Oh my, these are Gorgeous!! I am always drawn to emeralds, and would adore to have these earrings. While that will never happen, today I wore my little shamrock earrings which came from Dublin. Nice green stones, no doubt completely fake but the same colour, lol.
