More Advent Beauty Calanders 2019

Macy's 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar

As promised on Tuesday, I'm featuring a few more Advent Beauty Calendars 2019 which have a winning combination of quality products at a good value. This year I omitted advent  calendars priced over $200, as well as, those offering sample sizes instead of  generous (if not full sizes). Samples should be given to customers for free!     Beauty Advent calendars are soo much fun to give and receive. Unfortunately, as you point out, they need to be ordered earlier and earlier as the quantities produced have become more and more limited. There was a time when you could order them after Thanksgiving.

    The Yves Rocher Calendar looks like great value for money. It's still a popular beauty brand in France. Mme Mère was a regular customer for years.

      Obviously Mme Mère knew quality ingredients when she came across them, Marie-Thérèse. You must write a blog on all her favorite beauty brands! I'd be most interested in learning what the French equivalents of Noxema skin cream, Pond's cold cream and Max Factor's Pan Stik are -- all tried and true products that stay popular for decades due to their superiority. Oh gosh, what a fabulous advent calendar her selections would make! One could buy a re-useable wooden advent calendar and fill it with Mme Mère's French skin care and makeup choices! Write that blog, or guest blog it here, M-T, on THE SAVVY SHOPPER! What fun, it would be to read!!!

    These Advent calendars are quite amazing Debbie. I have never seen them on sale in Australia (although they might be, I don't look everywhere!). It must be a sweet gift to receive, and a cute count down to Christmas.

      Patricia, last year some lovely advent calendars landed at TJ Maxx, which operates under the name TK Maxx in the UK and Australia. I hope you have one nearby in Brisbane. The advent calendars there sold for about $25 since the merchant discounts everything.

      I don't understand why so many retailers make advents calendars in such limited quantities if customers want to buy them? I'm not enough of a marketing wiz to understand this concept!
      This year I decided not to feature Liberty, or Eleimis -- two top brands people covet since you can't get them without great effort ... plus they increase in price like a Chanel bag every year ... at some price point it becomes too much moola for what you get IMO!

      Here in the USA advent calendars from the brands Sleek, No. 7 and NYX sell for under $60, have good quality products and are sold at drugstores, but like the exclusive brands they too sell out quickly. Sleek is a British beauty brand ... perhaps the most likely to turn up in Australia?

      Thank you Debbie. I have googled TK Maxx and to my amazement there are three stores in Brisbane. I never knew that! The closest is about 40 minutes from here, so I will ring them and make some enquiries. They might be good for Christmas shopping.

Here in the USA I find so many useful, affordable things at ours, sometimes home goods, sometimes shoes. I see all kinds of designer clothing, such as dresses, trousers, sweaters, coats and jackets. The parent company is such an important client that designers no longer only give the retailer their leftover stock, but create so many units which go directly into the store just like the major department stores. If you have a big TK Maxx, you'll love shopping there!!
