Laura Geller Is Made For Mature Skin

I discovered Laura Geller's makeup at T.J. Maxx, a fabulous place to stumble upon new and innovative beauty brands, whether you're shopping for skincare, haircare, or makeup. A shout-out to T.J. Maxx's beauty buyers for their awesomeness! These buyers bring customers upscale and organic products originating from America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. I've long thought sending inventory to T.J. Maxx is an ultra-clever way for retailers to market their goods! Introducing new consumers to your brand at a bargain price is much cheaper than buying TV spots! For lucky shoppers, Laura Geller's line repeatedly lands in the aisles of T.J. Maxx.

At the time of purchase, I didn't realize Laura Geller targets makeup for mature skin. I simply knew that the colors were gorgeous and the formulas were high-end. As it turns out, the makeup is embedded with anti-oxidants and other good-for-the-skin ingredients. The essential collection -- baked foundation, baked blush, and baked highlighter -- gives you a light to medium natural shading with rosy cheeks, a healthy glow, and a flawless complexion. I highly recommend them!

Laura Geller's website helps clients find products to address individual face concerns such as fine lines, sallow skin, dark spots, redness, or sensitive skin.

When at T.J. Maxx (or T.K. Maxx outside the USA) keep an eye out to spot Laura Geller's line of lipsticks, blush, foundation, and other beauty items to try (full-sized) at a steal! I like everything I bought from the label thus far.

Without breaking the bank, you could start with a lipstick (it's very creamy) and a baked blush (it's richly pigmented) and go from there. Once you get hooked and buy directly from the beauty retailer's website make sure to sign up for customer rewards and take advantage of its promotions!

BTW: I've heard T.J. Maxx is such an important vendor to major names that often a specific quantity of their products are earmarked to go directly into T.J. Maxx's retail stores alongside merchants such as Macy's, Saks, or Nordstrom. It's not simply last year's stock that doesn't sell, but units of new collections going directly to T.J. Maxx.

Halloween Bags And High Fashion At T.J. Maxx

BETSEY JOHNSON Ginger Pumpkin Crossbody

I love going to my local T.J. Maxx, as well as, browsing online despite not being able to bring up specific designers by typing a name into its search box. Yes, a pain! T.J. Maxx has an agreement with certain designers not to disclose that their commodities, often marketed as exclusive, have landed at the retailer, discounted. Fair enough for the savings!

BETSEY JOHNSON Boo Ghost Crossbody

Moreover, here's thrilling news from the United Kingdom ... its T.K. Maxx, the company name across the pond, has paired with consignment shops to offer haute couture items for folks who buy Chanel, Louis Vuitton, or St. Laurent bags, wallets, or cardholders! Some of these high fashion labels are also landing on T.K. Maxx's shelves under the radar. If going forward you see them, it's not a mirage. Sometimes I see Valentino or Choe leather goods at the USA's sister company, T.J. Maxx, in addition to its Off the Runway section of apparel. The merchandise is still pricey, yet reduced by hundreds of dollars for interested consumers.

As regular readers know, I have an interest in haute couture as a blogger, although I don't buy it for myself. I'm happy with my Coach leather handbags and have picked up non-couture leather goods of excellent (or good enough however usually stellar) quality from T.J. Maxx's shelves. I buy all my leather wallets and cardholders for under $15. Shhhh, don't tell anyone! [I'll have to put this problem child bag identifying information here. BAGAMOUR Made In Italy Leather Baguette Crossbody →]

Now let's end with a bit of spooky fun. I've pulled up some Halloween-themed bags that are available until supplies last from T.J. Maxx's online website to feature throughout today's blog. The retailer always offers super cute holiday-themed home goods, as well as, apparel (including children's costumes) and bags, and shoppers may not have to go elsewhere. No scary prices for Maxximistas to find!

On the ends are ISADORA Made In Italy Leather Phone Holders and in the center a DIVINA FIRENZE Leather Triple Compartment Crossbody.

Juno Antioxidant Superfood Face Oil

Customers are raving about
Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant Superfood Face  Oil on Amazon. With 82% of 5 star reviews, it's hard to ignore! The face oil contains cold pressed berry seed oils, namely: red raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, cranberry, black cumin and wild carrot. When added to moisturizers after washing your face, the face oil seals in the moisture to protect and brighten the skin. Many of its reviewers say using Juno makes their skin glow.

I don't go out of my way to buy face oil, yet have picked up 4 oz bottles of Rose Hip Oil, as well as, Rose Oil at excellent prices from T.J. Maxx, so I understand why customers would add a face oil (really it's a universal skin oil) to their skin care routines. I add my rose mix oil (a link to the 2nd one I have) to creams and lotions to winterize my skin for extra protection during the driest months of the year.

With its powerhouse of anti-oxidants, Juno is another contender. Its berry seed ingredients have the power to brighten the skin producing the glow customers are loving. Hydrated skin would appear to glow, or look its best, also.

The reason I'd give Juno a try is precisely because of its pure and clean berry seed ingredients and stellar customer reviews. Since so many people have used the oil on their faces without breakouts, I'd tend to trust it if I needed an extra face ointment to beat back Old Man Winter. Cold pressed plant ingredients in skin care is a plus!

So we have another brand to know about and perhaps ... just perhaps Juno will find its way to T.J. Maxx to be snatched up by me! So many great items end up there. Often I think T.J. Maxx is a fabulous marketing tool for merchants to get consumers to discover their products! Once you try and like it, you'll pay the full retail price if you must. Without bargain finds, cold pressed essential and berry oils are pricey!

After Christmas Goodies: SLGs, Silicone Bags And Bras

James is showing you the SLGs (Small Leather Goods).

Before Christmas, it's fun to shop for others. After Christmas, it's fun to buy for ourselves! Not by design, yet I bought "holders" of all sorts yesterday and today:
😁😉

Here's what I got after Christmas:

1) Stone Mountain Wallet - see above) Made of bonded leather. Mine is all black, compact, and the strap when attached, lets me use it as a wristlet. It has the following features:

In a few colors/textures
  • Small zip around wallet with flap closure
  • Pebble leather w/man made trim
  • Silver-tone hardware
  • Detachable wristlet strap
  • Rear exterior slash pocket w/ ID window
  • Interior - Polyester
  • 8 credit card slots
  • Picture ID windows
  • 4 large slash pockets
  • Cash pocket
  • Interior zippered coin purse

  • Price: $9.99 at T.J. Maxx. Also sold at Boscov's.

    2) Stone Mountain Card Holder - Made of bonded leather. As regular readers know, I think T.J. Maxx is the place to find  SLGs even if you buy luxury handbags. You'd be surprised at the quality which ends up there. A bag is a better splurge. Often SLGs are 1/3 to 1/2 of the price of a handbag and they wear out faster. My new leather cardholder is:

  • Ultra slim
  • Napa, as opposed to, the pebble leather (on the left) w/man made trim. [I prefer a sturdier pebble leather if I have a choice.]
  • Gold-tone hardware
  • Interior - Polyester
  • 5 credit card slots
  • Picture ID window
  • 1 large slash pocket
  • 1 zipped pocket

  • Price: $4.99 at T.J. Maxx. Also sold on eBay.

    3) Uniqlo Women's Beauty Soft Wireless Bras - I've been
wearing these comfortable and supportive bras since the store 1st opened in NYC. They were discontinued briefly before Uniqlo came to its senses by bringing them back. Very soft and stretchy straps that never hurt your shoulders. Available in several neutral colors and special edition fun colors.
Boring as it is, I always stick with neutral or subdued colors so I can wear undergarments with every outfit. Having to match them to a light-colored top is too much work for me every morning. None better than what Uniqlo offers at any color or price point! Usually $24.90. Price: On sale for $19.99 - so I bought 2.

    4) Old Navy Silicone Reusable Sacks/Bags - Eco-friendly and sturdy enough to carry snacks, cosmetics, or anything you need to place in your purse, the pantry, or a drawer. I bought a few at $2.99 each. Then they were reduced again to $1, so a few more came home with me. It's rare for me to buy items I'm unsure of exactly how I'll use them, but I know they will keep my purses, pantry and drawers clean and organized. Price: now $1.

Nice practical things. When the price is right, you get a lot for the money. Value finds are always fun. They make you sooo happy!

Home Goods As Gifts For Less

The couch, pillow and throw are online offerings.

There are no better places to buy home goods than the merchant Home Goods and its sister company T.J. Maxx. Sometimes I make the trip to the bigger Home Goods store only to find my needed item at T.J. Maxx. So consider both retailers for cookery, room accent pieces, bedding, bathroom fixtures, and major pieces of furniture. You will be surprised at what comes through T.J. Maxx. Often I browse at my local T.J. Maxx, which is within walking distance, and I've adopted the mantra, "I  don't buy pretty," to avoid temptation and clutter.
However, when you truly need something for yourself or others, you find top quality for less! Although appreciating the thought, I hate getting merchandise that serves no purpose and is so unpractical I'll never use it. Better to give someone a gift certificate at Home Goods or T.J. Maxx, or wherever they like to shop so they can fill a need. If you buy a gift card at any one, you can use it at all its sister stores.

I think T.J. Maxx especially is the perfect place to do your holiday shopping to find the best merchandise without going broke. Some folks may not know you will find some of the same articles from Home Goods at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls because they all are under the TJX Company umbrella. Online or in-store, check out the clearance sales, which include home goods. You will find bargains all year round that the retailers must move quickly for new inventory. The stock is now plush for holiday shopping!
Every item featured on the blog today is online now for less! And it's only a fraction of the vast selection. There are also pet furniture, room organizer bins and baskets, as well as, holiday decorations. Go to the T.J. Maxx website to find them. If the items sell out, give your family or friends a thoughtful store gift certificate ... because something akin always rolls back around and your friends can get exactly what they want. The ever-changing inventory at these retailers makes browsing fun!🎅 And dangerous!! Don't buy pretty!👺

    T. J. Maxx Beauty Haul

    T. J. Maxx, where I find top-notch beauty brands for less, spoils me. Pricey designer names arrive at the retailer greatly reduced! Steals let you experiment and take a risk. The following 5 items are bargains and happy discoveries, ones I will buy again:

    1. Clarins Joli Rouge - (AboveCreamy moisturizing long-wearing lipstick in a sheer satin finish. I have it in soft berry - balm-like with subtle yet lasting color - Reduced to $6.
    2. Azure Hemp & Retinol Moisturizing Nourishing Sleep Mask - From Korea, a country with an ultra-advanced beauty market. This night cream is formulated from 100% organic hemp seed oil, retinol, hyaluronic acid, collagen, cucumber fruit extract, vitamin B3, Shea butter oil, and vitamin B5, the usual suspects in anti-aging skin creams, such as Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Facial Moisturizer, selling for $25 - $30 a jar. At $5.99, Azure's anti-aging moisturizing cream is a must-buy!
    3. SheaMoisture Green Coconut & Activated Charcoal Purifying & Hydrating In-Shower Styler - With green coconut, white tea, and lemon balm, it's an in-shower styler that infuses essential nutrients into my locks for the perfect wash-and-go style. As it happens I like to add a little extra conditioner to my hair during the winter months and with this one, perhaps I can forgo heat since it's created to give your hair body and texture without blow drying. Plus, it's made to treat oily roots and dry ends alike, thereby adding extra conditioning without a greasy look. Reduced to $3.
    4. and 5. SheaMoisture Peace Rose Oil Complex Nourish & Silken Shampoo and Conditioner - The entire line of SheaMoisture products in every formula is brilliant. Peace Rose is a scent I love! This is a no-brainer... come home with me at $5.99 each.

Extra hair tips: According to Energy Times here's how to winterize your hair: 1) Rub coconut oil into your hair and leave it wrapped in a towel for an hour; 2) Sleep on a satin pillowcase to stop breakage; 3) Message your scalp to increase blood flow; 4) Eat a healthy diet; and 5) Only wash your hair twice a week (not possible for straight hair like mine, but for curly!).
    5. Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick - Creamy and moisturizing lipstick with lasting color. T. J. Maxx introduced me to Laura Geller, a brand I didn't previously know! The texture, and consistency of the makeup (lipstick, cover stick, powder) are fantastic! Lovely weighty packaging containing a generous amount of product to boot! Cost: $3.99.💖

I go to T. J. Maxx about once a week. These beauty items were bought on multiple, yet recent trips. (I tend to be an under buyer ... always good to be.🙂) The stock is ever-changing, useful, and cheap, compared to department stores and boutiques. If you don't need an item yesterday, it eventually lands on the retailer's shelves. Time and money well spent!

Last Minute Shoppers Head To T.J. Maxx

Photo: Echo silk scarves, a favorite of mine
If busyness stopped you from completing your Christmas shopping, do not despire! Run (don't walk) to T.J. Maxx. I'm always astonished by the quality, value, variety and ever changing stock of merchandise on its shelves. High end labels are affordable! I never fail to discover new designers and brands by shopping there.

I will never buy another purse, backpack or suitcase any place else! I found the perfect handbag and briefcase/backpack for $25 each.

Pots and pans of all sizes and kitchen tools are professional grade, so there's no need to go elsewhere where you will pay more.

Furthermore, I love the beauty products! The skin care and makeup are top-notch even if you covet organic and all natural based ingredients. Recently as a small $6 spurge, I got a lovely rose body oil to try. It has nourishing anti-aging properties and a non-greasy formula, which lets me dab drops on my face too. Now I want to learn more about Natrave, the company that makes it.

I haven't bought clothes at T.J. Maxx since lately I haven't needed new coats, dresses, trousers or tops, but I see plenty of well known designer names and adorable style in its aisles, and know where to find replacements as I wear articles out!

I picked up baby clothes as gifts; Totes umbrallas; a pair of Nike sneakers, Merrell leather shoes, designer silk scarves and Cuisinart pots and pans. Every item is a fabulous find and a much needed buy for less!
The sensational rose body oil from Natrave I discovered at T.J. Maxx.
So if you still need gifts; or new party attire, certainly you'll found them at T.J. Maxx without compromise or breaking the bank. Moreover, the spectacular inventory is forever changing, and you will love browsing! Guaranteed.🎄
